I feel like before I jump into this article, I need to state a few things. Just so you know my connections to the platform. I am a Mixer partner and yes, i spend a majority of my time with this streaming platform. However, in this article I don’t plan on putting down any other streaming platforms. I simply look to hopefully engage the audience that has been open minded about other platforms. So for this article, I wanted to highlight a few of the Up and Coming streamers on Mixer. Now, another thing to point out. This is my personal opinions and highly suggest you give these individuals a look. I do have a lot of friends on the platform and I hope to do more articles like this in the future. That being said, If you’re reading this and find that your name is not on the list, please don’t take it as a sign of disrespect. The Mixer platform is a wonderful place full of many talented streamers that deserve a ton of recognition. I just plan on highlighting a few streams here.
SO, with that out of the way. I picked a few non-partnered streams that deserve some more attention and I plan on giving you reasons to go check them out. I’ll also be providing links to their channels. Many of them have VODs (Videos on Demand) or past broadcasts that you can check out but I highly suggest you attempt to find these individuals Live.
Mixer is a very highly interactive platform. In more ways than one, whether it be interacting with chat, or literally setting up interactive buttons to control the stream. The entertainment of the entire Mixer site has been a very unique experience and works great for streamers looking to try something different. It’s one of the reasons I switched platforms myself.
Now let me get straight to the list. The streamers I can confidently say could be the next big thing on the platform. So in no particular order, here we go:
- ReUp - ReUp is an individual I’ve gotten to know recently. He’s a stellar human being. His personality is very welcoming and positive. ReUp is pretty skillful at “Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds” but the thing that works for him is his ability to have fun with nearly any game he plays. ReUp is incredibly active with his chat as much as possible, even when he gets into stressful situations in PUBG. ReUp has also been diving into the world of survival games like “Ark” and even some creepy games like “Emily Wants to Play.” ReUp has been a wonderful addition to the community as well. Being involved in a large number of streams and virtually hosting a stream at all points of the day. - OmniShark - I’ve been lucky enough to get to know Omnishark over the past couple months. I was first introduced to Shark, as I call him, while streaming a previous web show that I had put together called, “The Watchtower.” It was basically a show that talked about superhero and sci-fi topics. After being pretty active in chat with the show, we invited him on to join the conversation. I was blown away by his friendly attitude and the ability to pretty much name any movie, tv, or comic reference ever made. When further tuning into his streams found that Shark was another incredibly interactive streamer. Shark is a really easy going, friendly person. He’s also very versatile. From playing in intense competitive situations like the Mixer PUBG tournaments with his teammates on Crimson Ocean (PieRatKing and Sithos), to joining in web shows like the show I explained, or being on web shows with another streamer duo that is on this list. Talking about comics or being included in fun game show scenarios. He even has a very extensive set of hilarious interactive buttons that’ll keep you cracking up. Shark has been able to hold his own with other streamers and partners, which I believe shows his flexibility and positive attitude. He’s another streamer I believe can continue to really shine and do wonderful things. https://mixer.com/OmniShark
- GoldilocksAndTheBear - This is one streaming duo that I cannot believe isn’t already partnered. Seriously, Goldilocks and the Bear have some of the most entertaining streams on the platform. This duo is very unique and I haven’t been able to find any streamers quite like these two. The streams may get a little raunchy at times BUT I feel that only adds to their hilarious personalities and incredible streams. Let me try to explain their stream the best I can, believe me it’s difficult because of how unique this duo is. So I’ll try to name a few of their unique stream idea they’ve done recently. Most recently, was what they call the “Goldilocks and the Bear Game Show Network.” A stream that included bringing viewers in to participate in game shows like “Cash Cab”, “The Dating Game”, “Deal or No Deal”, and “Family Fued”. I was laughing so hard and all the on-the-spot humor and quick jokes. Their streams usually wind up with hilarious parodies and dressing up in crazy costumes. Seriously, these two are fantastic and extremely creative. You’ll definitely leave this stream with your sides hurting from laughing so much. https://mixer.com/GoldilocksAndTheBear
- Preacher - This streamer is actually one of the streamers I found more recently. Still young in his streaming career but I seriously hope he sticks with it. Preacher is another friendly and mellow streamer. I tuned in after getting a little burned out from all the PUBG streams, Preacher was playing some Star Wars Battlefront II. After having a bit of conversation with him and watching him interact with his chat, I totally came to the conclusion this is someone that could really reach that next level fairly quickly. Mainly, the guy is pretty chill, and I’m not sure about you but I enjoy those chill streams to just kick back and hang out. The times that I’ve been able to check him out he also seems totally willing to let viewers jump in and batlle right along with him. - Tas7e - So Mixer just recently added the new Hypezone PUBG channel. A channel where it takes you to the streams that are the closest to getting that sweet chicken dinner. Tas7e is someone I was able to find thanks to this new channel. Let me tell you about this guy. If you love seeing some pretty awesome shots and highly skilled plays, you need to check this man out. The times I got to check him out playing PUBG, I’ve seen some pretty sick headshots and high kill games. Not to say his channel is completely about the competitive feel, as Tas7e can be pretty witty and entertaining. This is one of those channels that will leave your jaw on the floor with some of the plays he can make. - EarWaxCandy - This choice may seem a bit biased simply because EarWaxCandy has been someone that I’ve really connected with over the past year or so. But only because he has one of the easiest going streams on the platform and the guy is flat out hilarious. The name alone should tell you just the kind of sense of humor the guy has. One of the true variety streams that can work well with so many other streamers. Earwax is another one of those individuals that can leave you with your sides splitting. Though these are only a few things of what puts him on this list. He also has been one of the few streams that can make nearly anything interactive. Previously having an interactive fidget spinner and creating an interactive board for American Truck Simulator. The people that have the ability to make most things interactive can be hard to come by. - Tyfighter559 - This is another stream I’ve found more recently. With the new year a large group of the community decided to come together and create the #MixerFit movement. Somewhere we could help encourage each other to reach our goals of healthy living. Tyfighter559 has been one of the individuals that has been extremely knowledgeable about health and fitness. He’s held some streams to help educate people. This isn’t his only awesome feature of his stream. Tyfighter559 is another fantastic variety streamer. Playing a number of different games recently like Overwatch, Rainbow Six: Siege, and The Division. Just a few games he plays to go along with his informational web shows to get fit. https://mixer.com/TyFighter559
These are just some of the names that I wanted to feature. Remember, hopefully i can do more of these in the future to showcase more individuals that deserve some spotlight. Mixer is a growing platform and more wonderful streamers fill the site each day. If you haven’t visited this streaming platform yet, I highly encourage you to give it a chance and experience it for yourself. Try not to think of it as platform vs platform but think of it as looking for other unique streaming experiences. You might be able to find you’re new favorite streamer if you give it a chance. Keep an open mind.
